- Additions

When assessing home addition plan it is important that the finished product looks like part of the original dwelling and not an add on. Our policy is to use the same (or similar) roofing, siding and window joinery to that of the original house. This can be difficult to achieve at times when you have to match items such as wooden joinery that was made 20-50 years ago. However the finished product will look fantastic and add more value to your home.

The Advantages of Building an Addition
  • High Cost-Value Ratio. Studies show that nearly all of the cost of a mid-range two-story addition may be recovered at time of sale.
  • Less Expensive Way to Add Space. It is typically cheaper to put on an addition than to buy a new home that equals the space of your existing house plus addition.
  • It's All Yours. You may have an old house, but the addition is space that you can claim as your own. It's like designing a whole new house without the expense of a whole new house.
